YOUR WORKING WEEK, IN ONE PLACE

A personal shift planner for UK nurses and HCAs

Keep regular or irregular shifts and your own overtime record together on your device.

CommunityCue’s Shifts tab is a personal rota calendar for community healthcare assistants and nurses. It needs no account and has no cloud sync. Use it alongside your employer’s rota, which remains the source to check.

Enter a rota that fits your pattern

Use month or week view, add an individual shift, or choose Enter rota to fill four weeks using editable templates. You can copy a week or four weeks, repeat weekly or fortnightly shifts, or repeat a cycle that includes days off. The planner keeps one shift per date.

Keep overtime separate

Record extra hours and minutes against a date, including a day without a scheduled shift. Overtime has its own totals and log. It is a personal record, not a calculation of pay or confirmation of employer approval.

Scheduled totals use clock duration and the shift’s start date. They do not calculate breaks, pay, tax, entitlement or daylight-saving adjustments. Check your entries and keep any records required by your employer.

Save a backup before changing devices

Your rota, overtime and personal notes stay in this browser on this device. Clearing site data or losing your phone can remove them. In Settings, choose Export rota and keep the backup safely. Restore replaces the current rota after confirmation.

Keep using www.communitycue.co.uk/app for the same saved data. A different browser, device or website address has separate storage. Do not put patient names or other patient information into notes.

Use it on your phone

Open the app online first. You can add it to your home screen from your browser’s install or sharing menu. The app supports offline rota entry after loading, but installed-app cold reopening remains a check to complete on a physical iPhone.

Open CommunityCue

Choose Shifts in the app’s bottom navigation. You can also explore community care resource links or read how device storage and backups work.
